Jen Collier, NBC-HWC, Founder & Master Coach
-
Jen Collier developed the Greatest Commandment Modelâ„¢, the covenantal wellbeing framework at the heart of The Luke 10:28 Project, through her graduate research. She holds an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology from the University of East London and is a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC). She graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Psychology from Texas State University, San Marcos, and with her MSc complete is eligible for the Senior Practitioner Accreditation through the EMCC.
With more than 1,000 coaching hours, Jen works with undergraduates, graduate students, and university staff across the U.S., from community colleges to Ivy League schools, through her role as a Health and Wellbeing Coach at TimelyCare. As Lead Lecturer and curriculum designer at Wild Health Precision Medicine, an NBHWC-accredited program, she designed and implemented a coach-training curriculum that produced a 98% pass rate on the NBHWC board exam, training physicians, nurses, and other coaches. Earlier in her training, she was certified as a Master Health Coach through what is now the American Council on Exercise (ACE), formerly the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute, and holds ACE certifications for Adults and Seniors, Families, and Pregnancy.
Her work sits at the intersection of Christian formation, wellbeing science, and lived spiritual practice. She has contributed research and intervention design for Beloved, a Christian nonprofit serving college students engaged in the sex industry, and has led women's ministry and Bible studies in three churches.
Along the way, Jen spent 10 years educating children, exploring nutrition and culinary arts, mentoring women and teens, and training in various martial arts. She co-founded Hutto Has Heart, a nonprofit coalition serving residents of Hutto, TX, and served as Financial Chairperson for the Orange Santa program. She enjoys boating, hiking, and cycling.
Today, that work anchors The Luke 10:28 Project and its Greatest Commandment Assessmentâ„¢, a research-grounded assessment for Christians who want to grow in a way rooted in their faith and informed by psychology. Explore the assessment.
